Our Return Policy
At Hovumi, we want you to love every purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, we offer a straightforward 30-day return and exchange policy from the date of delivery. This policy applies to all furniture and home decor items purchased through our website.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- The item must be unused and in its original condition
- All original packaging, tags, and accessories must be included
- The item must be free from damage caused by misuse, assembly errors, or normal wear and tear
- Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) must be provided
- The return request must be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer support team at support@hovumi.shop with your order number and the reason for your return
- Our team will review your request and send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 1-2 business days
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging with all accessories and hardware included
- Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package
- Ship the package to the return address provided in your RMA email
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 3-5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take an additional 3-7 business days to post the refund to your account.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for a different color, size, or model, please contact our support team. Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the new item costs more than the original, you will be charged the difference. If it costs less, we will refund the difference.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange for a free replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you. Do not dispose of the original packaging until the issue is resolved, as it may be needed for the return shipment.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Items that have been assembled, used, or modified
- Clearance or final-sale items (clearly marked at the time of purchase)
- Gift cards
- Custom-made or personalized items
Return Shipping Costs
If the return is due to a product defect, damage during shipping, or an error on our part, we will cover the full cost of return shipping. For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
